By fusing Eastern European folk traditions and Django swing, the Kruno Gypsy Jazz Ensemble brews an exciting flavor of music that mesmerizes audiences with its sweet Balkan melodies and hot Gypsy jazz. Led by Krunoslav “Kruno” Spisic, the group was called “the hot new thing in 2005” by the Philadelphia City Paper, and consists of two guitars, bass and violin. Kruno has performed its blend of swing and folk themes to appreciative audiences at folk festivals and jazz clubs all over the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan.
