This Christmas wonderland begins on Friday, November 28th, and ends with our annual Christmas Stroll on December 6th. The Village of Ellicottville, a Norman Rockwell painting in the making, will be the background for beautiful strolling choirs harmonizing all our favorite Christmas carols. The smell of roasted nuts, hot apple cider and the decorated windows in this historic 19th century village will bring back thoughts of a Christmas past. As the daylight comes to an end � a spectacle unlike any other will appear� a gift of lights as the village of Ellicottville comes to life in white Christmas lights, and a breath-taking Winter Wonderland Fireworks display!! Throughout the event, activities will include Christmas carolers, reindeer, photos and breakfasts with Santa, hot-chocolate and roasting chestnuts, entertainment including a children�s Elf contest at the Village Gazebo, elegant horse-drawn carriage rides as well as Fire Truck rides with Santa.

Celebrate the holidays in a winter wonderland - the Fairgrounds Holiday Lights Festival! The newly expanded event features a new mile-long drive through a display of lights as well as a variety of indoor and outdoor attractions to walk through. The new route includes over 30 beautifully lit scenes and animated displays. Additional entertainment includes a holiday magic show, Frosty's 3-D Adventure, Santa and his reindeer, caroling and holiday-themed vendors for a unique shopping experience. The festival will end with a fireworks display on New Year's Eve at 9 p.m. A portion of each admission for the duration of the event will be donated to the Variety Club.

Holiday Valley and two of the area�s best microbrewers, the Ellicottville Brewing Company and Southern Tier Brewing Company, are sponsoring a Beer & Wine Festival at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville on Saturday, November 8. An additional 25 other beer and wine crafters will be participating featuring unique beers from around the world and an international selection of wines. Attendees will be given a commemorative glass upon entering the Festival, which entitles them to a 3 ounce sample at each vendor. Tickets are $35 presale and $40 day of the festival. Tickets are available at Wegman's, Holiday Valley and the Ellicottville Brewing Company. You must be 21 years of age to purchase a ticket and enter the festival. Live music will be played during the event and food is available on site. For all of you brewery memorabilia fans, there will be a "Breweryana" auction at 6 PM. The Festival will be held at Yodeler Lodge at Holiday Valley. The beer tasting dinner is on Friday, November 7 in the Clubhouse Fairway room. Tickets are $50 per person inclusive.
