Description: The President invites you to dinner at his home! Enjoy an enchanting evening in the Victorian Age as you help support the nation's first presidential center - the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center. This elegant evening features a six-course Victorian feast served in the 31-room mansion of our 19th President. Guests begin their journey into the 19th century when they step out of their automobiles. A footman stands ready to assist them into a horse-drawn carriage that transports them to the carriage entrance of the Hayes Home. There soldiers of the Union Army stand at attention to escort guests into the house. Inside costumed wait staff see to every need as period entertainment echoes through the elegant presidential home. The menu for the evening's repast is taken straight from State Dinners hosted by President and Mrs. Hayes during their 1877-1881 residence in the White House. Seating is limited to 24 guests per night.
