Description: The 2008 Nonprofit Human Resources Conference is the first of a series of planned annual events designed to bring together nonprofit human resources practitioners, executives, thought leaders, and researchers to not only discuss human resources issues of critical importance to the nonprofit sector, but also to identify resources � human, financial, and programmatic � that will advance the missions and organizational effectiveness of individual organizations and position the sector more effectively for the future.
This two-day event will bring together a diverse group of nonprofit organizations for 20 educational sessions, conducted by experienced practitioners and nationally recognized experts in the field of human resources, and will focus critical human resources issues in the following four areas:
* Succession Planning/Leadership Development
* Staffing, Recruitment and Retention
* Total Rewards (Benefits and Compensation)
* Legal Compliance/Risk Management
